The latest cooling tower component product developed by Mur-Tex is the hot water basin. On top of Texas Instruments wafer manufacturing building and on top of a Virginia hospital are the first two such basins, the largest measuring 121 feet long x 25 feet wide. Both basins were complete with sump tanks, weirs with gates and extra-strong outside flanges.
